12:13 am - phones... the saga ends
Well I got my new phone, and it's a Nokia 6610i. I'm pretty happy with it. It does all of the things I want a phone to do, and even does some things I didn't ask for, such as taking extremely low quality photos. So yes, I'm happy. Although, polyphonic ring tones have gotta be the most annoying thing ever. Whenever I hear one it makes me want to do a lame dance on the spot, and sometimes I can't help but just do it.

5:22 pm - phones
Since just about everyone seems to know more about phones than I do, I've got a question -- What is the smallest phone available? I'm not one of those people who needs to check their emails underwater so features aren't an issue -- I'm only going to use it for 1) Calls; 2) SMSes; 3) An alarm clock and reminders -- but I want it to be small. Preferably, I want it to be thin (that is, its size from front to back), because I carry it in my pocket and hate having an uncomfortable bulge in my pants. Any help would be appreciated.
Buldge in my pants.. tee hee.

9:30 pm - drug companies are fucking evil
In one of our tutes recently, we watched a movie called The Doctor. A rude insensitive doctor becomes a patient himself, then suffers the same rude treatment he use to be responsible for, then he realises the error of his ways and (not predictably at all) becomes a great guy. It's a crap movie and I don't recommend you watch it.
Meanwhile, I've been reading a lot about drug companies (as well as hearing about them in lectures) and I have decided that they are evil. I want to see a movie in which the CEO of a big drug company gets a rare illness for which there is no medicine, because his company deemed the market for it too small and hence not cost effective. He would realise the error of his greedy ways, and then die a painful death.

9:40 pm - hot for optometrist
I got contact lenses today, and as luck would have it, the first thing I saw was my hot optometrist. Then I ate some food, then I watched the Simpsons. Then I ate pudding with cream.
What a day!

9:39 pm - in need of a life
I know I have both too much time and too high a download limit when I simultaneously download the same file from two different sources and race them.

7:41 am - waltz
I have been having completely vivid, memorable dreams every night for the past week or two. Some of them have been crazy and weird, but most have been just an extension of normal life. The night before last I dreamt about applying for a research project. That's it, that's my subconscious.

6:45 am - Rain
Boo. It's raining pretty heavily and I have to walk to uni. At 7:30am. Boo. Hiss. Meanwhile, I don't think I can say enough how much the IMDB message boards annoy me (for something that I voluntarily read), and this discussion in particular sums it up pretty well.

12:49 am - Sopranos
Hear that? Yeah? That is the sound of a million orgasms. Why? Because I now own seasons 1-4 of The Sopranos on DVD, at about 35% of the price they were selling for two weeks ago (that is not a mistake, they weren't 35% off, they were bumped from around $96 to $35. Holy crap!).
With that to thank, I have done barely any homework and had barely any social contact, instead choosing to watch episode after episode. I started watching the show early in season 4, and was promptly hooked. Now channel 9 is only a 2 episodes from finishing season 5 (tell me how it ends and you lose a limb), and I can't get enough of it. Hooray for The Sopranos!
Addendum: It's kinda dumb how the act of entering a reminder alarm into my phone is enough to make me remember to do what I was meant to without needing the alarm.
